Vanguard Security & Compliance 2012 will be held June 25 – 28, 2012 at Harrah´s Las Vegas Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. A negotiated group rate of $89 per night plus tax has been secured for attendees. Rooms are subject to availability, so book before May 31, 2012. Harrah's has 2,500 high-quality rooms and suites and seven exceptional restaurants. Harrah´s also offers a state-of-the-art health club.
Travel
Getting to Las Vegas is easy. The city has more than 44 Million passengers per year pass through Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS). The airport is serviced by more than twenty airlines.
Local Transportation
The most convenient method of transportation to Harrah´s is by taxi, where it only takes 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel. Shuttles are available, which are frequent and cost-effective and rental cars are also readily available. We do not suggest renting a car, as you are unlikely to need a vehicle during Vanguard Security & Compliance 2012.
Taxi
Exit the airport through doors 1 – 5 of the baggage claim area to locate the taxi line. The average metered fare to the hotel is $15, which includes an airport origination fee. Most taxi cab companies do not accept credit cards as a form of payment. Should you need to pay by credit card, make sure you inform the taxi line attendant.
Rental Car
The Rental Car Center is located about three miles from the airport and is home to all major rental companies. A free shuttle to the Rental Car Center departs from the airport every 5 minutes from doors 10 and 11. Parking your car at Harrah´s, as well as all Vegas hotels, is complimentary.
Shuttles
Shuttles and buses can be found through doors 8 to 13 of the baggage claim area. Shuttles tend to be the most economical form of local transportation. One-way fares start at $6 per person to hotels located on the Strip.

Photocopies, PC, fax and shipping services are available at Harrah’s Business Center located across from the Registration and Information Desk in the main foyer.
